With categorized room types, booking engines can allow guests to search for rooms based on category.

  1. Go to Settings -> Booking engines.
  2. Click the three dots adjacent to a booking engine and choose “Edit”.
  3. Under categories, select one of the following options:
    1. Show – Required
    2. Show – Optional
    3. Show – Auto Select if Not Chosen
  4. Click “Save”.

Note: Auto-select only works for room types with a single category.
